My first set back of this new life came today.
first of all, let me explain my situation
when i first recieved my results, i was disappointed to see that i've failed 2 subjects. stats and microE.
i was disappointed but not shock.
my mind race for a solution. i could not let my dad know about it.
then it was settled. i would go for the supplementary papers, pass it and treat it as a D. after all. my first main objective is to pass all my modules.
The day for the exams came soon.
with the right excuse, i went for the exams. everything was settling in nicely.
then came one day when i was out with a friend. winnie lie called me to ask me to register for one of my modules. i was shock again. Did i fail my supp paper?
we were gaming at that time and i immediately logged into the nyp student portal to view my results. i had to retake my stats.
worried to hell, i russhed to nyp. after some talking with the councellor, i went to plan my time table. As if god wishes, i was extremly lucky to have found a time slot that slots perfectly into my time table.
that set my mind at ease. so instead of 6 subjects, i had 7. -fine. i thought to myself. i'll work hard and score.
then school started. i went for my class and stuffs. with my mind set on scoring gpa 4. i vowed to cut down my dota, and refrain from bringing my laptop to school so as to not distract me. After all, i would go to my mum's office after school and if i have my lap top with me, i would 98% of the time play it.
Monday passed.
Tuesday passed
Wednesday passed
then, thursday night. My mum told me that my dad knows about my results. i was like Huh? how can it be. she told me the school sent a letter to my home. to warn my parents about the consequences that i would face if i fail to pass my modules.
my life crashed.
everything was planned perfectly for me. the excuses, the time table, and now i'm brutally destroyed by a letter. My dad's out on a cruise for a night. till tomorrow.
i've lost faith. i'm at a loss.
someone save me.
